Joe Leonardo and Jenna Rohrbacher created this traditional milonga every Sunday night at the Shop People Gallery, a small, intimate space filled with the crafts and artwork produced in the myriad workshops below the dancers’ feet.
Sitting on the edge of the week, Milonga Pa’ la Gente gives you a chance to reflect on the great dances shared during the week before, ponder what great dances might be in the week coming, and above all, be in the moment and share it with friends. A relaxed atmosphere, simple food and drink, small dance floor, and a chance to hang out together in the scene.
